ShareNirvana Nevermind and Green Day’s ‘Dookie’ are the reason I started playing Guitar when I was 13.
Some of the riffs and Guitar tones Kurt Cobain got on this album were just amazing. Kurts ear for a catchy riff and melody was second to none and how much he got out of his usage of power chords was just genius.
Here you can hear producer Butch Vig at the console where Nevermind was recorded playing parts of the tracks separately and explaining how some of the tracks came together. Dave Grohl and Kurt Novoselic also discuss the making, touring and aftermath of the album.
